Taking a page from Yehoodi! and Hey Mr. Jesse, DJs Keith “Big Papa” Shapiro (Austin, TX) and Jonathan Pechon (Dallas, TX) have set out to create a podcast dedicated to music and DJing for blues dance. We felt very strongly that there really wasn’t any sort of resource for current and new blues dance DJs to really get on the same page with each other, and similarly that dancers really weren’t being exposed to the great music we play outside of the dances. This podcast is designed to do both.

We feel very strongly that social dance, by its very nature, is community-focused. We created this podcast for the community and hope that you’re as excited about it as we are, and that you’ll help contribute by sending us your feedback and letting us know what you like to see.
